In collaboration with Roving Heights, Gaia Africa proudly hosted an exclusive book reading event for Kehinde Fadipe’s debut novel, ‘In Such Tremendous Heat’, on May 23, 2024. Held at the elegant Gaia House, the event was a resounding success, attracting members of the esteemed Gaia Women’s Club, who celebrated the occasion with warmth, curiosity, and enthusiasm.
The serene and luxurious atmosphere of Gaia House provided the perfect backdrop for an evening dedicated to literature, discussion, and camaraderie. As Kehinde Fadipe read excerpts from her novel, the attendees were captivated by her storytelling and the rich narrative of the book, which explores the lives of three Nigerian women living in Singapore.
The women of Gaia Africa engaged in insightful and emotional discussions, asking questions about Kehinde’s experiences as a writer, her travels, and life in Singapore. The lively interaction was filled with laughter, empathy, and shared experiences, creating a memorable and intimate gathering. Guests enjoyed exquisite drinks and food, enhancing the evening’s ambience.
