Crash Through The Making Of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire With This Art Book Deal

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire transitioned from the two massive monsters engaging in a beat-down to a team-up for the ages. You can get a look at the making of the buddy monster movie with The Art of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, a hardcover art book Amazon is currently offering at a discount.

The 224-page art book includes a whole lot of art from the movie, including never-before-seen images of things like locations and monsters that didn’t make it into the film. Sequences from the movie are broken down through concept art and storyboards, so you can see how they were developed before they made it to the screen. The book also sports interviews with director Adam Wingard, production designer Tom Hammock, and their team of artists to provide insights into the concepts and designs that made it into the movie, and why some of them didn’t.

The Art of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire normally retails for $60, but Amazon knocks 15% off the price to bring it down to $51 here. Alternatively, you can snag the Kindle version for $19.

If the book leaves you with a hankering for more Monsterverse movies, Amazon has you covered there, too. The retailer has the Godzilla/Kong Monsterverse 5-Film Collector’s Edition for $99, down from its usual price of $110. The box set includes Godzilla, Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla: King of Monsters, Godzilla vs. Kong, and Godzilla x Kong for 10 hours of monster-mashing mayhem. There’s also a bonus disc of featurettes from each of the movies, including a roundtable discussion between the four directors of the films.

Amazon has a ton more options for your Godzilla and Kong needs, both to fill your library of Monsterverse movies in 4K Blu-ray and to take you behind the scenes with special features. Check out the best Monsterverse Blu-ray deals from the retailer below.
