The 11 best book-to-screen adaptations on Prime Video you can’t miss

The Emmy-winning streaming series The Boys, based on the best-selling superhero comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, is a fun and irreverent take on the superhero genre. Set in a world where superheroes or “supes” are real, as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and as revered as Gods, the series explores what happens when these powerful figures abuse their abilities.

Now in its fourth season, the show follows a covert group called “The Boys” led by Billy Butcher, who are dedicated to monitoring and policing the superhero community, particularly the most prestigious and corrupt superhero group The Seven. With its gritty narrative, explosive scenes and sharp social commentary, The Boys has been a hit with fans of the original comics and those new to the show.

Seasons 1-4 of The Boys are available on Prime Video. If you’re new to the superhero universe, you can also read the original comics and explore their wild and gory world.
