Catalyst will publish the anthology, I Wanted to Quit Too: Stories for the Heart and Soul, by Sunday Times bestselling author Hussain Manawer, featuring contributions from actors Courteney Cox and Jay Ellis.
Lauren Whelan, publisher at Catalyst and Yellow Kite, bought world rights direct from the author. It will be published in hardback on 23rd May 2024, priced at £16.99.
Split into five parts – Health, Hustle, Help, Hope and Healing – and featuring exclusive poetry throughout from award-winning writer Manawer, this “groundbreaking anthology includes short stories and conversations from global household names and hometown heroes,” Catalyst said. Contributors include photographer Greg Williams, “Friends” actor Courteney Cox along with actors Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Jay Ellis, YouTuber KSI, rugby union player Maro Itoje and singer-songwriter Sinead Harnett among others.
Catalyst added: “The book is centred around powerful life lessons, with stories focusing on navigating difficult personal circumstances where contributors have weathered the toughest storms, but instead of giving up have moved forwards. Yellow Kite published his début poetry collection, Life is Sad and Beautiful, in 2022, which was partly inspired by the death of his mother.
