From Kaia Gerber To Dua Lipa

In recent years, celebrity book clubs have gained immense popularity, offering readers a unique opportunity to explore diverse literary landscapes while also building on their love of their fave famous faces.

Several literary-minded celebs have really thrown themselves into their clubs, conducting interviews and making themselves available to fans specifically to chat books.

If you’re seeking  inspiration, connection, and thought-provoking reads, here are some of the best celebrity book clubs going.

Kaia Gerber, renowned model and fashion icon, launched a book club in 2020, largely operated via her own social media. In February 2024, she launched a complete literary platform called Library Science.

“Four years ago, I started a book club. it became a place to have nuanced, interesting conversations with friends, authors, and activists. Today, I’m so beyond thrilled to finally be giving it a life of its own. We are launching @libraryscience – a platform for sharing books, featuring new writers, hosting conversations with artists we admire – and continuing to build a community of people who are as excited about literature as I am.”

She signed off: “Books have always been the great love of my life ♥️ reading is so sexy.”

According to the announcement, Library Science Book Club will be spotlighting “young voices, debut writers, translations, contemporary classics. You won’t be seeing the typical bestseller list here… What you will get: new fiction, short stories, poetry collections, and plays that we feel open us up to larger conversations.”
