London New Year’s Eve 2023

There are six different ticketed viewing areas – Blue, Red, Pink, Green and White, plus an Accessible Viewing Area (Orange). If you’re coming with friends, make sure you’re all in the same viewing area. You won’t be able to move between areas on the night.

Important note: you won’t be allowed to cross bridges before or after the event. Consider which viewing area is best for you to travel to and from the event when buying your ticket. Stations will be very busy when the event ends. Choose the side of the river you want to be on afterwards to get home more easily. Otherwise, it might be a much longer walk!

All viewing areas have a specific entry point. You’ll be able to choose where you enter when you book your ticket, provided tickets are still available for this entrance. Your entry point will be printed on your ticket.

Remember, central London will be very busy on New Year’s Eve. There will be many changes in how the city and transport runs on the night. Do plan your night and allow plenty of time to get in.

BLUE AREA tickets cover the stretch of Victoria Embankment from Westminster Bridge to Golden Jubilee Footbridge. This can only be accessed from the North side of the River Thames using Victoria Station for Entrance 1 and Charing Cross for Entrance 2. This is a head on view directly opposite the lastminute.com London Eye. You can enter from 8pm to 10:30pm.

RED AREA tickets cover the stretch of Victoria Embankment from Golden Jubilee Footbridge to Temple Avenue. This can only be accessed from the North side of the River Thames using Holborn Station for Entrance 4 and Blackfriars Station for Entrance 5. This is a side view further down the river from the lastminute.com London Eye. You can enter from 8pm to 10:30pm.

PINK AREA tickets provide access to Waterloo Bridge only. This can only be accessed from the North side of the River Thames using Holborn Station for Entrance 3. Please note, you cannot cross this bridge to enter other ticketed areas. This is partial side view of the lastminute.com London Eye. You can enter from 8:30pm to 10:30pm.

GREEN AREA tickets cover the area behind the lastminute.com London Eye. This can only be accessed from the South side of the River Thames using Waterloo Station for Entrance 7. This is an up-close view directly behind the lastminute.com London Eye. You can enter from 8:00pm to 10:30pm.
