GREENVILLE – A new book from a Mississippi author is making headlines.
New York Times Bestselling Author Greg Iles has launched his latest book “Southern Man”.
It’s a follow-up to his “Natchez Burning” trilogy.
Iles recently revealed he put off cancer treatment so he could finish the book.
“Southern Man”, Iles‘ latest “Penn Cage” novel, continues his exploration of racism by diving into its national implications.
It’s earned accolades from John Grisham, Stephen King and other authors.
Iles says the book lets the reader see America though a black character’s eyes, and says he hopes it helps the country find “common ground”.
