Wyndham Park Visitor Centre Book club set to launch in Grantham

A new book club is set to start at a town park visitor centre.

The Wyndham Park Visitor Centre Book club launches next week on Wednesday (September 13), with a morning and afternoon session at 10.30am and 1.30pm. Both sessions will last 90 minutes.

No books will be discussed at this session, and are intended as a starting point, giving attendees the opportunity to discuss what they’d like out of a book club, how often they’d like to meet, the most suitable time to meet and what kind of books they’d like to read.

South Kesteven District Council will publish details of regular sessions in the future once these have been agreed.

Councillor Paul Stokes, SKDC cabinet member for culture and leisure, said: “We are proud to be facilitating the book club as it is a fantastic opportunity to bring together the local community to connect over shared interests.

“This is just the first stage in our plans to widen participation within our parks and introduce a range of events at the Wyndham Park Visitor Centre.

“We look forward to welcoming book lovers into our beautiful park and visitor centre.”

Everyone is welcome to join the book club.
