EKIN-SU Culculoglu has bravely put pen to paper to release a tell-all book about her life.
The Love Island winner, 29, will open up on childhood trauma, bullying and boyfriends as well as life after finding fame on the dating show.
It comes after she finally broke her silence on ex-boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti’s cheating and how she “f***ked up” by entering Celebrity Big Brother.
Ekin teased the huge announcement this week on her Instagram, and The Sun can now reveal that the non-fiction book, called Be Your Own Best Friend, will be published on August 29.
In it she will also reveal how she suffered.
She told The Sun: “I’ve got a book coming out which is all about me and the people I’ve met in life.
“You are going to know who I am. You’re going to know why I am the way I am.
“From childhood traumas to extreme bullying to boyfriends continuously breaking my heart, why I felt abandoned. Why I was always closer to older people.
“So it’s everything, my experience with Davide, there’s a lot in there.
“I’m done hiding. I’m done lying and protecting other people, this is my truth.”
Ekin is keen to share how the piece of work is more than an autobiography, though.
She added: “There’s also advice to help if you feel like this, what can you do? Every chapter has an advice section.
“And there is a letter that I wrote to myself at the end, it’s quite emotional. I speak to the 10-year-old me in the book and told her all the things I wished someone had told me back then.”
Ekin has been on a period of self-reflection since she crumbled in the CBB house, when fans accused her of fakery.
She has admitted the emotional turmoil of her relationship with ex Davide had left her battered, with no idea who she was.
Now, she adds: “It was like therapy doing this book.
“At some points I did question whether I want the world to know certain things about me, but I also don’t just want to be defined as that dramatic girl from Love Island who crawls on the floor for a snog!
“I want people to know me for me, not the work I’ve done or the wronguns I’ve dated.
“I want to be liked for being me.
“I don’t think many people have given me a chance to show my true self, I mean why would anybody really know me, when all they know is the girl on produced reality shows, and it also doesn’t help that I’m still learning who the hell I am.”
