Jim Dyer and his new book, “Proof of Heaven” Photo submitted

A new book by local author, James (Jim) Dyer has just been released at Amazon. The book is entitled “Proof of Heaven” and an appropriate image of a Heavenly gate is displayed on the front cover.
Dyer previously wrote and recorded “The Ballad of Bongo Ray” which is available on YouTube. He is also the author of two novels: “To Earth from Heaven” and “If You See a Magic Star.” Both books are listed at Amazon under the author name, James Dyer.
Dyer is a 1971 graduate of West Wilkes High School. He is currently retired from the U.S. Postal Service and he still lives in the West Wilkes area with his wife, Abby. They both love the Wilkes County community and count a great many of its citizens as friends.
Jim briefly describes this latest book which begins with his personal Christian testimony as follows:
“I felt very blessed as I wrote this little 32 page book. It is a comforting and colorful coffee table reminder that a very happy Heaven is our Christian destiny!”
