Electric Soul, a production company based in Greenville, won an Emmy for outstanding work in cinematography on its anthology series “The Spark” at the 50th annual Southeast Emmy Awards.
In each episode of the six-part series, a nationally renowned business owner, artist or craftsman based in Greenville is profiled.
“It’s an incredible honor,” said Micah Taylor, owner of Electric Soul and director of the series. “I am incredibly proud of Brian (French) and appreciate him as a creative collaborator who is constantly striving to not only make beautiful work that complements the narrative, but his humble and passionate leadership of the camera team and how that elevates our work and our culture.”
“The Spark” was also nominated in three other Emmy categories, including long form content, Micah Taylor for director of long form content and Brian French for photographer of long form content.
