Townhouse on the Green Dublin hotel review – a new city stay for your little black book

Townhouse on the Green opens one of the city’s best addresses to guests — with brash new restaurant Floritz on the first floor

Cosy and close to the action – why a good townhouse is the perfect stay for a city break

One of Dublin’s best addresses is mine for the night. Well, one of its rooms, at least.

Staying at 22 St Stephen’s Green feels like I have the keys to the city. Within minutes, I can be nosing around the National Gallery, shopping on Drury Street, or supping a pint in Grogan’s or McDaids. I know you could say the same for any central hotel, but there’s just something about a townhouse; the cosy size and Georgian grandeur, the elevated guesthouse vibes, that feels like a home from home for the night.
