Alton Towers’ ‘magical’ new offer lets kids go free when you book a short stay

As the summer holidays draw near, you might be on the hunt for affordable ways to keep your little ones entertained during their six-week break. And if your children are adrenaline junkies, we’ve got just the ticket – Alton Towers is offering a lovely little deal on short stays from July 20 to September 1, 2024, provided you book before July 7.

Starting at £56 per person, this deal offers a whole host of other perks that will enhance your Alton Towers experience for less. For example, you can get exclusive early ride time on the new and improved Nemesis Reborn as well as The Curse, plus an ‘unforgettable’ overnight stay complete with complimentary breakfast, golf, and parking.

The offer allows a family of four to save up to 10% on their overnight accommodation too which, depending on availability, can be chosen from the Alton Towers Hotel, Splash Landings Hotel, Woodland Lodges, dreamy stargazing pods and more.

It’s not just theme park goers that this deal benefits as any children aged between zero to 15 added to the booking receive a free water park ticket.

This package is ideal for those travelling from further afield who want to enjoy the full Alton Towers experience without having to worry about beating the morning or afternoon traffic.

It’s worth mentioning that this tempting short-stay deal doesn’t include entry to the theme park itself; day tickets start from £29 online and can be tacked onto your booking at checkout. However, as mentioned before, the offer does come with the perk of early ride time, allowing guests to beat the crowds and access select rides before the park opens to the general public, reports Nottinghamshire Live.

As we mentioned before, one of the rides you’ll get early access for it Nemesis Reborn, which made a triumphant return to the park on its 30th anniversary earlier this year after shutting down for refurbishment in November 2022. Those who raced to try it out upon its return have given the ride stellar reviews.

One enthusiast gushed on the theme park’s Instagram page: “I went there three weeks ago and Nemesis Reborn is so fun.” Another excited visitor commented: “Nemesis Reborn is so good I went on it like 3 times last weekend.”

One of our friends over on our sister site the Manchester Evening News checked out the revamped ride upon its reopening and shared their thoughts: “It had just enough twists and turns to create the thrills, without the relentless head wobbling of some of the other longer rides that I sometimes struggle to tolerate. Admittedly, it had become a bit bumpy and rickety in its old age – haven’t we all. Now, however, with the entire 250-tonne track replaced, along with the two ride trains, it’s a much smoother and quieter journey.”

Speaking about the newest revamp, they expressed: “With its mysterious red veins snaking along every inch of the track and a fearsome interactive eye at the heart of the ride, it looks much more impressive and the whole story-telling element around it has transformed the Forbidden Valley zone and added a new level of excitement for guests. It’s changed, but everything fans loved about the original ride – the inversions, hair-raising corkscrews and nerve-shredding drops – remain. They’re just a bit more magnificent than they were before.”

However, not everyone has been quite as thrilled since the reopening, as some visitors have found themselves queuing for extended periods, which can be anticipated during busy weekends and school holidays, so plan accordingly. But even with the longer wait times, the theme park aficionados still rate it as a world-class attraction.

Right now, this enticing short-stay deal presents the ideal opportunity to give you and your loved ones an entertaining weekend without denting your wallet too much. For further details on this offer, click here.

And it’s not just Alton Towers rolling out bargains for family fun over the warmer months; Chessington World of Adventures is presenting a stellar offer that gives families a free second-day entry pass find out more about this promotion here.. Over at Thorpe Park, advance day tickets are available at the tempting price of only £29 per person here. For all the ins and outs of the Alton Towers deal, have a look here.
