Jennifer Aniston announced her first book, Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life, will be published on October 1.
Aniston revealed that she has been busy writing and publishing her first children’s illustration book. The first-time author expressed her love and passion for her new book, as she was inspired by her rescue dog, Clyde. The Friends actor hopes that Clydeo can help readers create a fun-filled, self-confident relationship through his colorful adventures.

Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life has secured a four-book deal with HarperCollins Publishers (the second-largest consumer book publisher). In addition, Invisible Studio will create the animations, and the illustrations will be done by Bruno Jacob.
The global actor states, “When I decided to partner with Invisible Universe to bring Clydeo to life on social media, I could have never imagined how much joy he would bring to his fans and followers.” She continues, “I could not be more thrilled to be taking Clydeo and his stories to publishing, where he will hopefully inspire children and dog lovers alike with his adorable journey to find his true passion.”
Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life showcases Clydeo’s original storyline as he struggles to find his true passion amongst his family. Clydeo tries everything his family suggests, “but nothing seems to make his world sparkle.” Clydeo takes the readers on a heartwarming journey as he discovers his natural gift for cooking.
Prior to the release, Clydeo’s animation clips received millions of views on social platforms, posting his favorite recipes and cooking tips. Aniston started posting Clydeo’s short clips to Instagram in 2021, building a loving fan base.
Fans of all ages are filled with excitement to see their favorite online animation in a printed bound book for all to enjoy. Viewers rushed to Clydeo’s Instagram newest post, quoting, “Just can’t wait to purchase this book.” Additionally, “OMG !!!!!! What im so excited.” Overjoyed fans can’t wait to see what Aniston has in store for future books.
