KEARNEY, Neb. — A local Hastings author has launched a new book in an adventure series that explores various topics, from pirates to Christianity.
Chaney Hobson just released her new book titled “Legends of Nesher”.
The book is the second in her Redemption Pirates series.
Hobson describes it as a fantasy book about pirates and ancient legends.
She says it is a mix of Pirates of the Caribbean and Jurassic Park with an underlying message of Christianity.
Hobson says she’s inspired by her faith and her love of something she says Nebraskans don’t get to see much of.
Hobson says if you missed her book signing on Thursday, May 30, you can catch up next year when she holds another event for her third book’s release.
