Wales’ most famous hotel The Celtic Manor has opened its new sister location in Newport. The Celtic Collection opened their newest hotel, Ty Hotel Newport, on May 31, with rooms starting at £99.
Ty Hotel Newport is unique from any other venue as the largest all-electric hotel in Wales. It is also the only hotel in Wales with more than 100 rooms operating without any natural gas. Want less ads? Download WalesOnline’s Premium app on Apple or Android
The hotel includes its own Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, Casa Kitchen and Bar. With a buffet breakfast, breakfast menu and a loaded a la carte menu, you can enjoy a taste of the Mediterranean with your stay.

With a focus on sustainability the £20million building has features that work towards the Celtic Collection’s strategy to achieve Net Zero by 2050. These include, low energy LED lighting, water saving devices, energy-efficient electric ovens and induction hobs and solar panels installed.
