Former governor of Ogun State, Olusegun Osoba, has announced his plan to unveil his latest book, ‘My Life in the Public Eye’, on Saturday, July 13.
The veteran journalist disclosed this in a statement made available to the Sunday PUNCH, adding that the book would be unveiled in Lagos, in conjunction with his 85th birthday celebration next month.
He said, “I am delighted to inform you that I will be 85 next month by the grace of God. In thanksgiving to Almighty God for His mercies, I will be presenting my latest book, ‘My Life in the Public Eye’ on Saturday, 13th July 2024 at Eko Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, by 12 noon prompt.
“The book features some of my historic reflections on issues of public interest since 2019. It also documents salient public reactions to my 2019 memoir, ‘Battlelines’. My publishers have described ‘My Life in the Public Eye’ as a legacy work and a handy measurement of my politics and person.
“The 13th July unveiling of the book will be an intimate gathering of friends, family and well-wishers who have been part of my incredible journey so far. As one who fits into this group, I will be delighted to welcome you to this occasion.”
