A Peasedown resident has brought the story of Jesus Christ to life for young readers in a vibrant new children’s book.
Kate White, a member of St John’s Church, authored “Meet Our Amazing Friend Jesus” to help her daughter and other children understand the teachings and life of Jesus in a captivating and accessible format. The book, available on Amazon, has already become a favourite among parishioners.
She said: “This book is bright and colourful and in ‘scrap book’ style. Starting with the Christmas story through to the Gospels and Easter to the present day, the book documents a conversation between two friends who explain how all the parts of Jesus’ life link together.”
St John’s Church Vicar, Revd Matthew Street, said: “Congratulations to Kate on the release of her new book. It’s a fantastic publication that allows and enables children to learn about Jesus’ life in a colourful and visual way.
