The illustrated story follows Bindi and Grace as they introduce animals living at Australia Zoo, teaching readers about their habitats and ways to protect both the creatures and their environments. Bindi announced the exciting news Wednesday on her Instagram. In an adorable video with her 3-year-old, she revealed that, through the book, readers across the globe will explore Australia Zoo and learn about the Irwin family’s conservation work at home and around the world. The sweet video shows Bindi and Grace interacting with several animals at the zoo and reading the upcoming book together.
You Are a Wildlife Warrior!: Saving Animals and the Planet
Ever the close clan, the Irwin family flocked to Bindi’s comments to shower her with praise and support for her latest project. Her mother, Terri Irwin, commented, “I am tremendously proud of you, @bindisueirwin. You are a wonderful mama and a true Wildlife Warrior! Your book is beautiful and brilliant. A fantastic, fun story for everyone!”
Chandler Powell, Bindi’s husband and Grace’s dad, wrote, “Congratulations ❤️ So happy this day is finally here after all your hard work. So exciting!”
The Irwins aren’t the only animal lovers enthused about the children’s book — hundreds of fans also shared their excitement in Bindi’s comment section. “This is so gorgeous,” one person began. “I can’t wait to get one to read to our little wildlife warriors! Congratulations ????”
