KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Mid-Continent Public Library announced that it will host two world-renowned and bestselling authors, James Patterson and Mike Lupica, next month in Kansas City.
Both authors will talk about their latest book, “Hard to Kill,” a novel about a former NYPD cop and defense attorney, Jane Smith, who takes on an “impossible criminal defense case,” at the Woodneath Library Center Auditorium, — located at 8900 NE Flintlock Road.
Although the program is free, registration is required and opened Monday at 10 a.m. A waitlist will become available once the registration is full, and those on the waitlist will be contacted if a space opens up, according to the MCPL.
As well as this, the attendees will also be gifted a free, signed copy of “Hard to Kill,” while supplies last.
“It’s an absolute honor to be able to host James Patterson and Mike Lupica—two of the most prolific and beloved authors of our generation,” said MCPL Director and CEO Aaron B. Mason.
“At Mid-Continent Public Library, we aim to connect our patrons with inspiring content and experiences. We’re fortunate to have the resources to bring bestselling authors to our community, embodying the true spirit of what libraries are all about.”
