Local Author Releases New Children’s Book, People Are A Lot Like Socks

Russ Troutt, a new voice in children’s literature, announces the release of his debut book, “People are A Lot like Socks!”

Review for People are A Lot Like Socks!:

Published by Troutt Publishing, this tale of love and acceptance promises to capture the hearts of readers with its engaging rhythm of words and vibrant illustrations.

“People are A Lot like Socks!” takes the reader through a journey of looking at people as if they were socks, loving every style, size, color, and pair. For no matter how big, no matter how small. Whether you’re short, or whether you’re tall. Regardless of color, shape, or size, ALL should be wonderful in our eyes. In teaching to accept and never mock, we can see that…people are a lot like socks.

In hopes to spread the message of compassion and understanding, Mr. Troutt has crafted a heartwarming story that will resonate with children and parents alike. Through the vivid illustrations from artist Nathan Thomas Milliner that brings this compelling story to life, Mr. Troutt invites readers to put on your fuzziest socks and step into the pages of a story that celebrates acceptance, compassion, love, and the power of imagination.

“I am thrilled to introduce People are A Lot like Socks! to young readers everywhere,” said Mr. Troutt. “I can only hope that my debut children’s book will be a testament to my beliefs and creativity, finding a fun way to create smiles and spread more love across the universe”.

“People are A Lot like Socks!” is available for purchase online at www.trouttpublishing.com and at select bookstores nationwide.

Mr. Troutt is a Southeast Tennessee native who has had a passion for writing and storytelling for as long as he’s been able to talk and write. In conjunction with the waves splashing against the side of the ship, many nights at sea while serving in the United States Navy were spent splashing ink to page. While traveling the world, Mr. Troutt has written many short stories, poems, and screenplays, and is excited to be publishing his debut children’s book.
