The Banned Books Book club, organized by Karen Claypool at the Pilgrim Congregational Church, will be meeting next Monday, June 17 to discuss Sherman Alexie’s novel, “Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian.”

The club hosted its first meeting at the beginning of the year and has been meeting periodically to open the dialogue surrounding school boards’ efforts to ban books in schools.

For more information and to get involved with the club, reach out to Karen Claypool at 423-698-5682 or visit their website.
