The Banned Books Book Club | Local News


The Banned Books Book club, organized by Karen Claypool at the Pilgrim Congregational Church, will be meeting next Monday, June 17 to discuss Sherman Alexie’s novel, “Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian.”

The club hosted its first meeting at the beginning of the year and has been meeting periodically to open the dialogue surrounding school boards’ efforts to ban books in schools.
