It’s dueling Alexandras on this week’s Book Review podcast.

First, the reporter Alexandra Alter discusses two of her most recent pieces. One is about Georgette Heyer, the “queen of Regency romance,” and the recent attempts to posthumously revise her most famous works by removing offensive stereotypes. She also talks about her recent profile of Rebecca Yarros, author of one of this year’s biggest hits: the “romantasy” novel “Fourth Wing.” The sequel, “Iron Flame,” has just been released.
