
As part of The Washington Post’s longstanding partnership with the National Book Festival, “Book World” published a special edition covering the day-long programming at the festival. Additional copies will be distributed to visitors on Sept. 24. More than 20 Washington Post journalists and editors from across the newsroom will moderate discussions with festival authors, including Jon Meacham, Pulitzer Prize winner and bestselling author; Yaa Gyasi, debut novelist of “Homegoing”; and Lauren Groff, bestselling novelist; among others.
The Post will also host an exciting schedule of daytime activities. From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., families are invited to join The Post for live storybook readings by local children’s book authors, color comic book-themed bookmarks and take photos with The Post’s mascot, Ned the Newshound, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. See the full schedule of readings below:
