Following the success of her online book club, Queen Camilla is to launch a brand-new podcast.
The Queen’s Reading Room will be an eight-part weekly literary series where she will tell listeners about her all-time favourite reads.
Hosted by Vicki Perrin, CEO of the Queen’s charity of the same name, Camilla will appear in the show along with a range of guests including Dame Joanna Lumley, Sir Ian Rankin, David Baddiel, Elif Shafak and Countdown’s Susie Dent.
Vicki says: “There is nothing quite like a brilliant book recommendation from a friend; but it’s even better when that person is one of your favourite authors or most admired persons.
“I hope that this podcast will inspire listeners to new literary adventures and help those wishing to love books a little more, find the books which set their imaginations alight.”
The Queen’s Reading Room podcast launches on 8 January.
