About the Book: In life we have all gone through things that makes us question will we ever make it through this? Where is God in this? What do I do now that I have experienced the hurt and pain that life can bring? This devotional is a testament that God can turn your pain into purpose. That the God we serve is here and is always saving us, through the hard times. God’s Grace is something we have not earned but He’s a loving and compassionate God that cares for the broken hearted. Through each poem you will explore how God’s Grace has prevailed time and time again.

About the Author: Amourie Downing is an African American woman, who was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She identifies as a Christ follower and is a loving mother to her son. Amourie loves to spend time with her family and friends traveling, enjoying family dinners, and creating great memories. Her journey has been one of trials and triumph, so she knows a lot about experiencing God’s Grace. Amourie is passionate about serving people in every avenue of her life and love to share her story as a testament to how powerful the God she serves truly is. She describes herself as a lifelong learner with more life to live. Amourie started writing poetry in high school as a way of expressing herself with the words she didn’t have the courage to speak out loud. Finally ready to share her gifts and voice with the world, you are reading the first of many books from Amourie’s collection.
