Dallas Lit Hop 2024 features events at Lucky Dog Books and Bathhouse Cultural Center


Sponsored by literary nonprofit Wordspace Dallas, Dallas Lit Hop 2024 is a series of live literature performance events.

This summer’s slate features four events, each with a unique theme and new location. All events are free and open to the public, including two in East Dallas at Lucky Dog Books and the Bathhouse Cultural Center.

Night one: Roxy and Judy Gordon Fest

Joseph Flaten, Roderick Earl Richardson, Veronica Pamindanan, Michael Helselm Chris Merlick and his Duchampaphone, Insecto-Ray Orchestra, John H. Slate and Opalina Salas.

Top Ten Records, Saturday, July 13, 6-9 p.m.

Night two: “Wordspace Artspeak”

Benito Huerta and Janet Chaffee. Hosted by Sandy Bates Emmons.

Bathhouse Cultural Center, Saturday, July 23, 6-9 p.m.

Night three: “Some Of The Dharma”

Karen X Minzer and Isabella Russell-Ides.  Hosted by Rod Russell-Ides.

Oak Cliff Cultural Center, Friday, August 9th, 7-9 p.m.

Night four: “Music Makers”

Aaron Gonzalez, Stefan Gonzalez, Sarah Ruth and Alicia EV Borman. Hosted by Clancy Manuel.

Lucky Dog Books East Dallas, Saturday, August 24, 2-4 p.m.
