In this YouTube Original program, hosts Idina Menzel, Ilana Glazer and Moshe Kasher are joined by Jewish leaders in art, culture, faith, food and entertainment to dine and discuss their Jewish heritage, the rise of anti-Semitism and its effects on the Jewish community. The program, subtitled, “Dinner, Discussions and Jewish identity,” celebrates Jewish culture through the lens of food and conversation. Following the screening of this 50-minute documentary, Todd Shotz will be in conversation with Susan Rona. Shotz is a television producer, Jewish educator and leading consultant on Jewish representation in both film and television. Maya Ogea at The Velvet Elk Lounge: 8 p.m. Wednesday, The Velvet Elk Lounge, 2037 13th St., Boulder. Maya Ogea is a singer-songwriter from Denver. Ogea has traveled all across the U.S. playing hundreds of live shows and festivals. She’s gained recognition throughout her years, while also becoming a Nashville recording artist. She has shared the stage with many notable artists, including Patrice Rushin, Claud, Dar Williams and Andrew Dost. She is now studying at Interlochen Arts Academy where she is pursuing being a singer-songwriter. Her sound is known for being folk-rock with a touch of pop. Free, 303-993-8743.
