Is Taylor Swift Publishing a Book?

In case you hadn’t noticed, The Tortured Poets Department is almost upon us, and Taylor Swift has been heavily promoting the album this week. Like, on top of dropping clues in Apple Music lyrics and having mysterious QR codes made from the number 13 pop up in Chicago, Taylor’s out here launching a library installation at The Grove in Los Angeles.

You’re Not Ready!

According to a press release, “Fans will be able to explore a poetry library, highly curated to represent the direction of the new record” and “the shelves will be packed with books and visual surprises for fans to enjoy.”

The installation will be updated daily (it’s open from April 16-18), and apparently, there will be ~surprises~ in store for viewers. Unclear what said surprises will entail, but fans are convinced that Taylor is moments away from announcing the publication of a new book…which, if true, is pretty wild considering she gave us this Easter egg during the “All Too Well” video.

Meanwhile, fans clocked that Tay has been including bookmarks with collector’s edition CDs…

Btw, this isn’t the first time fans have been convinced the singer is about to drop some literature. For a while, people thought she was the mystery author behind the book Argylle is based on. And let’s not forget that last May, the internet became briefly convinced she was about to drop a summer memoir!

Anyway, Taylor’s library installation is up for three days, so in the meantime, we’ll be keeping an eye out for any surprise books!
