David and Victoria Beckham’s Marriage Questioned In New Book

Back in the day, the couple faced a storm when Rebecca Loos claimed she had an affair with David. Despite the allegations, Victoria stood by her man, and the duo seemed to weather the storm together. 

In his shocking new tell-all, Tom Bower claims that David Beckham and Victoria Beckham’s union experienced another rocky patch. 

According to Bower, David and Victoria lived separately in 2016, with David allegedly accusing Victoria and her publicist of “waging a media war” against him. 

In his book “The House of Beckham,” he describes how things were so strained between the famous power couple that they barely spoke and maintained only a “distant business relationship.” In the author’s words:

“Although the Beckhams could not hide their separate lives, they stuck together to support the Brand.” 

The words contained in the book offer a starkly different narrative compared to the Netflix documentary, “Beckham,” which treated fans to new details about the pair’s romance.

It even touched on those infamous rumors of David’s alleged infidelity, which have grown increasingly frequent over the years, per Mirror UK.

The first slew of infidelity rumors hit shortly after David and Victoria began their relationship. At the time when Becks was accused of cheating, Victoria was on tour and pregnant with their first son, Brooklyn. 

Addressing the incident in her 2001 autobiography, “Learning to Fly,” Victoria recalled how she “saw red” when her man called to admit he had been accused of kissing another woman.

Her response to the news was to punch him in the face when they physically reunited days later. She confessed, “I hadn’t planned it. I hadn’t punched anybody before. Just instinct. I just felt angry and hurt.” 

Ultimately, Posh chose to believe the English native, and they tied the knot four months after Brooklyn’s birth on July 4, 1999.

Unfortunately, five years into the union, the Beckhams faced a major scandal when rumors surfaced that David had an affair with the aforementioned Rebecca Loos. 

According to Loos, who was David’s assistant, she and the former soccer player first slept together after “connecting” on a night out with friends. She further claimed that she and David had been sexting up until two weeks before the details made headlines.

While allegations were promptly denied by David Beckham, fans raised their eyebrows when another woman, Sarah Marbeck, asserted that she had an affair with him in 2004.

As Mirror UK reported, Marbeck alleged that they exchanged sexually explicit texts for up to two years and that she slept with him in a hotel in Singapore while he was on tour with Real Madrid.

In the same year, beauty salon owner Danielle Heath also came forward claiming she had an affair with Becks at his Madrid home. The father of four has also been accused of cheating on his wife with Irma Nici and Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins.

Having to deal with cheating allegations has luckily not stopped the Beckhams from dishing out marital advice to their kids. 

The Blast noted that their son, Brooklyn, was a recipient of the duo’s wise words when he was set to walk down the aisle with his bride, Nicola Peltz. 

During an interview in 2022, he remembered them saying, “Just love each other, try not to worry about anything, and keep working. Just try to have fun.”

The 25-year-old also used the chance to express his admiration for his then-new wife, stating that, “Having my best mate with me all the time is just amazing.”

Brooklyn doubled down on his affection for Nicola by revealing his tattoo of her eyes on the back of his neck. Reflecting on the tattoo, he said, “My wife has gorgeous eyes, and I was like, ‘Why not?'”

In August 2023, photos posted by Victoria on her Instagram page showed her beau embracing his inner country singer during a visit to a cowboy boots store in Nashville. 

As observed by The Blast, the first photo showcased their daughter Harper lending a hand in removing the brown leather boots her father had tried on in the store.  

While the 49-year-old wore a gray T-shirt, black pants, and a baseball cap, his baby girl donned a sleeveless white top and blue denim shorts. Her blonde hair was styled with a side part, letting her curls fall over her shoulders.

Another image featured David imitating the classic cowboy stance with a serious pose and a cowboy hat. Under the post, his wife wrote:

“When In Nashville first stop…. Cowboy boots for @davidbeckham ? (not as easy as it looks ?) followed by BBQ lunch then vinyl shopping with @cruzbeckham x.”
