OZAUKEE COUNTY — Students who love to write or are interested in creating their own book are invited to enter the Wisconsin State Organization of Delta Kappa Gamma’s annual book writing competition. Delta Kappa Gamma is an international women educator’s society.
The competition is open to Ozaukee County students in grades three through 12. Books can be fiction or personal narrative in English or bilingual Spanish. Each book should be written and illustrated by a single student and will then be submitted to the local chapter.
Students may enter through their teacher or individually. Homeschooled students, private school students and Ozaukee County residents attending school in Milwaukee are also eligible.
The Ozaukee chapter deadline is Friday, Feb. 2, 2024. Winners will be judged and awarded prizes at the local and state levels.
