Entrepreneurs Book Club

WHAT — This lunch hour book club is perfect for business owners, entrepreneurs or anyone who might be in a leadership position. The club will resume August 1 after a brief summer break. Reading selections are “Lead it Like Lasso” by Marnie Stockman for August and “Shoe Dog” by Phil Knight for September. June’s reading selection was “Slow Productivity: The Lost Art of Accomplishment Without Burnout.”

Entrepreneurs Book Club meets the first Thursday of every month at local independent bookstore Bookish: An Indie Shop For Folks Who Read.

Bookish opened its doors in August 2018. Its location inside Fort Smith’s Bakery District focuses on local authors, small presses, a curated selection of new fiction, nonfiction and children’s titles. The shop provides children’s programming, a variety of book clubs and specialty events.

WHEN — Noon on first Thursdays August 1, September 5 and October 3

WHERE — Bookish: An Indie Shop For Folks Who Read 63 S. 6th St.
