Fairfax County Public Library’s (FCPL) Summer Reading Adventure is upon us again! This year’s program, All Together Now, celebrates the themes of friendship, kindness and unity and runs from June 16 until Aug. 18.
Participation is easy! All you need to do is earn 10 virtual badges by reading books, reading for 30 minutes, completing activities or doing a combination of all three. You can participate by signing into Beanstack or using a paper log available online and at your local library. Sign up on Beanstack now.
Once you earn 10 virtual badges, visit any library branch to get a community-sponsored coupon booklet and coupon sheet from Fairfax County Park Authority. Coupons include:
- Friends Book Sale Coupon: $2 off any book purchase
- River-Sea Chocolate Factory: free mini-sized chocolate bar
- Scrawl Books: $10 off any purchase
- Domino’s Pizza: free bread twists
- Wendy’s: free small Frosty
This year, to add to the summer reading fun, FCPL will also be holding two contests just for teens!
