March 20: Introducing the Power Foods Diet 

Join Dr. Neal Barnard for this live webinar series as he gives a behind-the-pages look at his newest release, The Power Foods Diet. On this episode Dr. Barnard will be breaking down how to understand the power foods approach and why it beats other strategies like Wegovy, Mediterranean diets, and other not-so-good ideas. He will be joined by PCRM’s Culinary Specialist Dustin Harder, who will showcase some of his incredible recipes he created for the book, including Blueberry Popsicles, Blender Oat Waffles With Blueberry Cinnamon Syrup, and an Easy Breezy Veggie Curry. Special guest, and Food for Life instructor, Stefanie Ignoffo will share her family’s personal journey using power foods to power up their strength training and weight loss. The webinar will be hosted by PCRM’s Director of Philanthropy for the Western Region, Ashley Waddell.

March 27: Unhealthful Foods and How to Replace Them 

Join Dr. Neal Barnard for this live webinar series as he gives a behind-the-pages look at his newest release, The Power Foods Diet. On this episode Dr. Barnard will be discussing unhealthy foods (including some surprises!) and how to replace them. He will be joined by PCRM’s Culinary Specialist Dustin Harder, who will showcase some of his incredible recipes he created for the book, including Crispy Oil-Free Oven-Baked Potato Wedges, Brussels and Pinto Tacos With Mango Salsa, and Strawberry Breakfast Bake. Special guest Dr. Steve Lome will also be on the line to share his personal story about saving lives, including his own, using power foods and a plant-based diet. The webinar will be hosted by PCRM’s Director of Philanthropy for the Western Region, Ashley Waddell.

April 3: Best Food Choices: For Those Who Cook and Those Who Don’t

He will be joined by PCRM’s Culinary Specialist Dustin Harder, who will showcase a recipe from each category in the book, including Black Bean Burritos (Convenient), Egg Roll in a Bowl (Easy), and Baked Polenta With Mushroom Ragu and Cream Sauce (Elegant).
