A new book has exposed the feud and strained relationship between Meghan Markle and Victoria Beckham.
‘The House of Beckham’ by Tom Bower has lifted the lid on what led to the fractured relationship between Beckham and the Duchess.
According to Bower’s book, Markle allegedly wanted free handbags and clothes from the Spice Girl.
The author claims the Duchess of Sussex’s actions were because she saw herself above the “social pecking order”.
Bower also alleges the Duchess was “irritated” because Victoria Beckham was wealthier than her.
“In Meghan’s celebrity world, ranking depended on wealth and fame. As a seasoned operator, Meghan deluded herself that her status in the royal family placed her above Victoria in the social pecking order,” Bower claimed.
