The in-depth collection is set to drop on 20 June, 2024.
A new book from filmmaker Grant McPhee titled Postcards From Scotland is set to offer a deep dive into the “oral history of the Scottish indie music scene” from 1983 to 1995, featuring over 100 interviews from the likes of Teenage Fanclub, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Primal Scream and many more.
The book covers the radical transformation of the Scottish independent scene, which flourished after an influx of young musicians filled the vacuum left by many of the country’s post-punk bands, who had either broken up or moved south by 1983.
