A new volume in a book anthology series centers around Theo Parrish‘s illustrious career.
Published on November 29th, Blank Forms 09: Sound Signatures includes a 20-hour discussion between music journalist Mike Rubin and Parrish that spanned four days. In the book, they discuss the Detroit house music pioneer’s childhood in Chicago, music collaborations and changes in industry practices since the social movements of 2020.
The series also features interviews with other trailblazing artists and composers such as Amelia Cuni, Marcus Pal, Aki Onda, Takehisa Kosugi and Akio Suzuki.
