Seán Carlson, the May 2024 selection for New Irish Writing poetry

Seán is working on his first book, a family memoir of migration. His essays and poetry have appeared or are forthcoming in The Honest Ulsterman, The Irish Times, New England Review, Oxford Review of Books, Trasna and elsewhere. Seán was recently awarded an Elizabeth Kostova Foundation poetry fellowship in Bulgaria. He and his family live in Listowel, Co Kerry.
