Two artists are selling a collection of former President Donald Trump’s tweets at the Republican National Convention titled The Collected Poems of Donald J. Trump.
Friends Gregory Woodman and Ian Pratt are selling the 400-page book for $45, bound in a cover usually seen on classic poetry collections. The project appears to be satirical but can still be enjoyed by Trump supporters. It includes Trump’s tweets from 2009 to 2019.
“Combining the measured contentiousness of Thoreau, the terse poignancy of Hemingway, and the inclusive social commentary of Ta-Nehisi Coates and Toni Morrison, Donald J. Trump has emerged as one of the leading poets of his generation,” the publisher’s note reads in the preference, seen by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Woodman said the idea for the book came after Trump’s famous “covfefe” tweet, which left viewers confused and amused.
“Is Donald Trump an actual poetic genius?” Woodman told the outlet he recalled thinking after seeing the tweet.
Woodman didn’t divulge his political leanings in his interview with the outlet.
“I’m just a fan of great poetry and great art, and it’s been a fun project to work on,” Woodman said.
The volume was sold at the RNC, but can also be ordered online. Its success has cleared the way for a second volume, which will cover his tweets sent from 2019 to the present day.

“Trump’s best work from 2019-present day, including impeachments, indictments, incitement, a global pandemic, his wilderness years, culminating with an assassination attempt. Volume 2 is a literary tour de force,” a description of the pre-order said.
The idea isn’t wholly unique, however. Satirist Rob Sears published a book of Trump’s “poetry” in 2019.
