The Bookseller – Rights – W H Allen acquires Ethan Mollick’s book about how to use ChatGPT and Regenerative AI

W H Allen has acquired Co-Intelligence, a book about how to use ChatGPT and Regenerative AI by Ethan Mollick.

Publishing director Jamie Joseph bought UK and Commonwealth rights directly from Penguin in the US, and the book will be published in April 2024.

“Ethan’s book is special as it’s the first major book that shows us how to actually use this incredible technology,” the synopsis says. “It explains what tasks it can do brilliantly, and – crucially – what it can’t yet do well. And it guides readers with worked examples on exactly how to use it best.”

The synopsis adds: “Using three models of how to think about AI – as a co-worker, co-teacher and as a coach – he gives the readers the practical tools and prompts they need to get to grips with some of the most transformative software in the world. Readers who understand this technology early will have a massive advantage as it evolves and progresses in the future.”
