Kathmandu, May 17

New York Writers Workshop is set to host the Kathmandu workshop and the Himalayan Literature Festival (HLF) in collaboration with White Lotus Book Shop. The workshop starts on May 23 and culminates in HLF on May 27 and May 28 at Kathmandu Guest House, Kathmandu.

The festival will feature a worldwide lineup of renowned authors, poets, and speakers. Attendees can look forward to engaging panel discussions, captivating readings, insightful workshops, and thought-provoking conversations on various literary topics.

“We are thrilled to start the Himalayan Literature Festival this year,” said Yuyutsu RD Sharma, the curator of the festival. “Our goal is to create a platform that not only celebrates literature but also fosters a sense of community and inspires creativity.”

In addition to the main events, the festival will include activities, including panel discussions, book signings, book launches, and interactive sessions with authors of different genres.

“We believe that literature has the power to connect people and ignite imaginations,” added Sharma. “Through the workshop and Himalayan Literature Festival, we aim to spark meaningful conversations, showcase diverse voices, and celebrate the magic of words.”

Tickets will be available for purchase online and at the entrances during the event.
