Read and mingle at the Silent Book Club from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Aquinas Literacy Center, 1751 W. 35th St., Chicago.
Silent Book Club invites adults 18 years and older to bring any book they’d like to read for an hour of reading in quiet camaraderie. Bring a physical book, an ebook or an audiobook (with headphones).
Enjoy social networking from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., and then silent reading from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The event provides complimentary coffee, tea and water, and a popcorn bar for the first June 18 event. Attendees may also bring their own drinks and snacks.
