In the book he also looks at issues with the planet, and how it was imapcted by the pandemic.
He says that it has been estimated that one million of the eight million species on earth are thretaned by extinction.
The book also highlights the ‘opportune’ behaviours humans exhibited due to the disturbances created by the pandemic.
