SUMMARY: Parents looking to keep their children busy this summer can consider the summer opportunity camps offered by the Tupelo Public School District. Teresa Gregory, the communications assistant, shared details about the camps, which are available for Pre-K through sixth-grade students throughout June. While some camps are full, several still have openings. Options include Wilderness, Princess and Pirates, Girls Creativity, Gardening, Pokemon, Science in Motion, Crocheting, Tapestry, and Creative Writing camps. The camps cost $90 for the first and $70 for additional ones, running from 8 AM to 12 PM at Parkway Elementary. The initiative aims to engage children in fun, educational activities.
The Tupelo Public School District is hosting summer opportunity camps beginning June 3.
