Farmagia, a new monster-taming RPG-meets-farming-sim from XSEED Games and Marvelous, launches on PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam on November 1. The game was announced during the June 2024 Nintendo Direct with a trailer showing off the gameplay and art style, which features creature and character designs by famed manga artist Hiro Mashima, best known as the creator of Fairy Tale, Edens Zero, and Rave Master.
Preorders for the game are now live, including the special physical Day One Edition available for PS5 and Nintendo Switch.

The Farmagia Day One Edition is an upgraded standard edition of the game that costs the normal $60 but comes bundled with extra goodies often reserved for pricier deluxe/limited editions. You get a copy of the full game on PS5 or Nintendo Switch, a soundtrack CD, and a 96-page art book, all of which comes in a large outer box featuring unique cover art illustrated by Hiro Mashima.
While the Farmagia Day One Edition is the only version of the game available for preorder, we don’t know how long it will be available after the game launches on November 1, so it’s worth preordering if you want this version. You can preorder Farmagia Day One Edition for $60 at Amazon and Best Buy. Digital preorders are also available, but that version does not include the extra Day One Edition content.

Farmagia sees players build a farm where they raise a roster of monsters to lead in battle against other deadly creatures living on a mysterious island. As you explore, fight enemies, and upgrade your farm, you’ll unlock stronger monsters and new transformations form them to use in battle. While the upcoming video game kicks off the new franchise, a Farmagia anime series is also in the works that will also feature designs by Mashima.
